ASPIRE Commercial Banking - National Office, Data & Analytics - Winter 2027 Co-op/Internship Toronto

About the role

Join Scotiabank’s Commercial Aspire Program in Toronto from January to August 2027. This internship supports Commercial Banking’s National Office Data & Analytics team by analyzing data, developing reporting solutions, identifying trends, and communicating insights that inform business decisions and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources for reporting and business decision-making.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis and research.
• Help develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations supporting Commercial Banking initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical needs.
• Present findings through reports, presentations, and data visualizations while considering the Bank’s risk culture.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in business, commerce, analytics, statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, data science, or related field.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good presentation skills and consistent professionalism.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn about Commercial Banking.
