About the role
Join Scotiabank’s Canadian Banking Automotive Finance team for a paid January–April 2027 internship or co-op in Hamilton or Toronto. You will analyze financial statements, monitor client account trends, support credit and fulfillment activities, collaborate with syndicate banks, and develop practical experience in automotive finance and credit risk.
Responsibilities
- Spread interim financial statements in Moody’s Risk Analyst accurately and within authorized frequency requirements.
- Perform trend analysis to monitor client accounts and help determine client risk ratings.
- Liaise with syndicate banks to gather due diligence and information for analysis and questions.
- Provide administrative support for credit or fulfillment activities as required.
- Create reports using Excel or PowerPoint.
Training and Student Experience
- Receive in-depth role training, ongoing coaching, and feedback.
- Attend student events, including Scotia Student Day, Lunch & Learns, and leadership panels.
- Participate in bank-wide orientation and gain exposure to senior leadership.
