About the role

Winter 2027 co-op/internship with Roynat Capital’s Mid-Market Mergers & Acquisitions team in Toronto. Support company and market research, financial analysis, valuation, transaction materials, and client presentations across strategic transactions. The role offers hands-on exposure to M&A advisory, corporate finance, transaction execution, business growth, succession planning, and value creation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct company, industry, and market research supporting strategic transaction opportunities.
• Assist with financial analysis, valuation exercises, and transaction-related materials.
• Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation.
• Analyze financial statements and business performance to evaluate opportunities and risks.
• Gain exposure to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions.
• Build relationships with stakeholders while supporting various transaction stages and considering the Bank’s risk culture.

• Roynat Capital’s Mid-Market M&A team advises business owners, entrepreneurs, and management teams.
• Work alongside experienced professionals while developing corporate finance, valuation, and transaction analysis skills.
