Join Scotiabank's Global Transaction Banking team as a Portfolio Optimization Intern for Fall 2026. Support portfolio analysis, financial performance, and optimization initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in payments and treasury management solutions.

Role Responsibilities
- Support analysis of GTB portfolio financial performance including revenues and profitability.
- Prepare data, maintain models, and analyze revenue and economic value drivers.
- Assist pricing, finance, and analytics teams with pricing reviews and profitability assessments.
- Evaluate financial feasibility of portfolio initiatives through data collection and scenario analysis.
- Build and maintain dashboards to monitor key portfolio KPIs like revenue and margins.

Team and Culture
- Work within a diverse, collaborative, and high-performing Global Transaction Banking team.
- Gain exposure to payments, cash management, and deposit products.
- Build awareness of the bank’s risk appetite and compliance requirements.
- Participate in bank-wide orientation and exclusive student events.
- Receive in-depth training, coaching, and feedback to support success.

Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Business, Economics, Analytics, or related post-secondary program.
- Strong analytical skills with interest in portfolio analytics and financial modeling.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with dashboards or reporting tools like Power BI is a plus.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
