About the role

Join Scotiabank's Corporate Banking Credit Analytics Group internship in Toronto from January to April 2027. Gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit processing while developing industry and product expertise in a collaborative environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform financial statement analysis and risk assessment with high accuracy.
• Identify and analyze key risks of clients and transactions.
• Prepare and process annual credit reviews per bank policies.
• Develop expertise in assigned industries and products.
• Complete quality control and special project tasks.
• Maintain professional interactions with stakeholders and teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
• Knowledge of corporate banking, loan products, and financial statements preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Spanish or French is an asset.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and credit products is a plus.
