About the role

A full-time Wealth Management internship in Toronto from January to April 2027, offering hands-on experience across strategy, projects, products, partnerships, acquisitions, PMO, and Private Investment Counsel teams. Interns support initiatives, reporting, communications, policies, and cross-functional deliverables while receiving training, coaching, student events, and exposure to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing projects and key business initiatives.
  • Prepare reporting and recommendations for project enhancements.
  • Manage enhancements to existing programs and projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts on presentations and support materials.
  • Draft project communications, policies, and procedures for implementation and operational transition.
  • Provide business support on cross-functional projects and assigned deliverables.

Candidate Profile

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, planning, written communication, and oral communication skills.
  • Creative communicator able to contribute to decks, proposals, and project materials.
  • Interest in innovation, emerging trends, and idea generation.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in extracurricular activities such as conferences, clubs, and competitions.

Student Experience

  • Receive in-depth role training, ongoing coaching, and feedback.
  • Attend student events including Scotia Student Day, Lunch & Learns, and leadership panels.
  • Participate in bank-wide orientation and gain exposure to senior leadership.
  • Work within a diverse, collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team.
