Wealth Management - Finance Internship-Co-op - Winter 2027

About the role

Full-time Winter 2027 internship in Scotiabank’s Wealth Management division, offering hands-on experience across finance, reporting, planning, forecasting, credit structuring, portfolio solutions, and financial planning. Interns support analysis, client account transfers, and special projects while receiving training, coaching, and exposure to student events and senior leadership.

• Financial Planner Intern.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial statement preparation for appropriate reporting periods.
• Support financial data gathering, analysis, and presentation of monthly and quarterly results.
• Assist with reporting, planning, and forecasting activities.
• Support management planning, process reviews, and implementation of recommended changes.
• Respond courteously to internal and external client account transfer inquiries and complete related activities efficiently.
• Participate in special projects, analyses, and escalation of problem items when necessary.

Program experience

• Receive in-depth role training, ongoing coaching, and feedback.
• Attend student events, including Scotia Student Day, Lunch & Learns, and leadership panels.
• Complete bank-wide orientation and gain exposure to senior leadership across the organization.
• Work within a diverse, collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team.
