2027 Fundamental Equity COO Intern

About the role

Ten-week summer internship on Schonfeld’s Fundamental Equity COO team in New York. The role supports executive routines, operational, technology, and strategic initiatives, while improving onboarding, budget data, documentation, and processes. It suits business, finance, economics, or related-degree students with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support executive routines and business-side program management for operational, technology, and strategic initiatives.
• Map Portfolio Manager and Analyst onboarding and offboarding journeys, identify gaps, and develop solutions.
• Clean and maintain vendor and budget data, including repeatable categorization and reconciliation processes.
• Build or improve presentation and educational materials used by new Portfolio Managers and Analysts.
• Design tracking processes for incoming market and product questions from external Portfolio Managers.
• Document processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and transparency across the platform.
