2027 Equity Middle Office Intern

About the role

Join Schonfeld’s Operations division as a 2027 Equity Middle Office Intern in New York. During a ten-week program, you will support trade lifecycle and settlement processes, improve data integrity, and collaborate with Operations, technology, accounting, brokers, and other teams while receiving formal training, mentorship, and exposure to hedge-fund operations.

Responsibilities

• Support post-trade processing so trading activity updates internal systems and reaches external partners.
• Work with prime and executing brokers to resolve settlement breaks and reduce operational risk.
• Help create and improve organized, centralized databases supporting data integrity and scalable operations.
• Collaborate with Middle Office colleagues on operational projects involving data completeness, accuracy, and investment value.

Program Experience

• Gain exposure to Core Operations, Asset Servicing, Technology, Market Data, Accounting, and Portfolio Finance.
• Learn how asset types function and how data is retrieved and communicated with sell-side counterparties.
• Work directly with Operations senior management and peer groups across the firm.
• Receive manager support, mentorship, skills workshops, senior-leader sessions, and networking opportunities.
