2027 Core Operations Intern

About the role

The 2027 Core Operations Internship in Miami is a ten-week placement supporting the trade life cycle from trade capture through settlement. Interns collaborate with Operations management and peer departments, contribute to reconciliations and projects, and gain exposure to financial data, fund administration, accounting, risk, and portfolio financing.

Responsibilities

• Support reconciliation processes across cash, positions, and trades.
• Gather data and assist with ad hoc projects and firmwide initiatives.
• Learn the trade life cycle from trade capture through settlement.
• Help ensure trade flows are accurately processed across all systems.
• Reconcile daily and monthly financial data with fund administrators and accounting books of record.

Program Experience

• Work directly with Operations senior management and colleagues across peer groups.
• Build solutions addressing real-world challenges during the ten-week internship.
• Receive guidance from a dedicated manager and mentor throughout the program.
• Attend learning sessions, hands-on skills workshops, networking events, and social activities.
