About the role
The 10-week Hong Kong summer internship places you between investment teams and an AI platform. Through rotations with portfolio manager and strategy teams, you will identify opportunities, build AI-assisted research and trading tools, improve shared infrastructure, measure adoption and value, and present your work to portfolio managers and the AI committee.
Responsibilities
- Rotate with portfolio manager and strategy teams to learn processes, identify bottlenecks, and ship AI agents and workflows.
- Build AI-assisted research and trading tools spanning data ingestion, signal research, and daily portfolio manager tools.
- Contribute to shared AI infrastructure, including data pipelines, agent memory, architecture, intelligence, and user interfaces.
- Measure tool usage and value, then improve solutions based on feedback.
- Present completed work to portfolio managers and the AI committee, explaining and defending design choices.
Internship Program
- The internship runs for 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Receive guidance from a dedicated manager and mentor throughout the internship and beyond.
- Attend learning sessions, hands-on skills workshops, networking activities, and events showcasing the firm’s functions.
