About the role
Rothschild & Co Five Arrows offers a 6-month internship starting January/March 2027 in Paris. The analyst intern will support the investment team of the Five Arrows Secondary Opportunities fund, focusing on secondary private equity markets across Europe and the US.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in analysis and execution of new investment deals.
- Support sourcing by identifying investment opportunities and conducting market research.
- Monitor investment performance and prepare quarterly reports for investors.

- Five Arrows is Rothschild & Co's private equity branch with over €30 billion assets under management.
- FASO focuses on secondary private equity, buying portfolios mainly in health, business services, and software sectors.
- Investments span Europe and the United States, targeting sellers seeking liquidity.
Candidate Profile
- Students in final year or second part of gap year from top business or engineering schools.
- Dynamic, rigorous, curious, proactive, and able to work independently with strong deadline discipline.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills with solid financial knowledge, especially private equity concepts.
- Fluent English in writing and speaking due to international investment scope.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
- Previous experience in M&A, corporate finance, or private equity is a plus.
