About the role

Join RBC as a Quantitative Technology Services Co-op for a 4-month software development internship. Develop and test applications, analyze business needs, and work in a dynamic team environment in Bedford, Nova Scotia.

Role Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, code, and perform code reviews and testing following SDLC best practices.
• Conduct design and integration testing of applications.
• Manage release and incident processes for applications.
• Handle project work and daily support to improve departmental efficiencies.

Candidate Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field with strong academic performance.
• Experience developing applications in UNIX/Linux or Windows environments.
• Proficient in at least one programming language: Java, C#, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.
• Self-starter with strong analytical, interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong MS Office skills and experience presenting to stakeholders.
