Junior Commodities Analyst
Join RBC Capital Markets as a Junior Commodities Operations Analyst supporting trade validation and physical metals inventory management. Collaborate with traders and operations teams to ensure accurate trade processing and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
- Validate commodities derivatives and physical trades in Openlink booking systems.
- Analyze impacts of new deals, amendments, and cancellations; communicate issues.
- Monitor trade capture errors and ensure corrective actions to reduce errors.
- Serve as primary contact for queries between Front Office and cross-functional teams.
- Work with Futures Clearing teams to resolve daily trade breaks.

Additional Duties
- Coordinate transportation, storage, and delivery of precious and base metals.
- Maintain accurate logistics records ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Strong academic credentials with high accuracy and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Self-starter, quick learner, and effective problem solver.
