Join RBC Commercial Banking as a Winter 2027 Strategy Analyst intern for 4 months. Support strategic initiatives, market research, and financial analysis to influence business decisions and gain hands-on experience in enterprise strategy and banking.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic initiatives.
• Assist in developing and refining business strategies and go-to-market plans.
• Analyze financial data and KPIs to identify growth and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate strategic options and build business cases.
• Prepare executive presentations and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Translate complex problems and data into actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Tableau, Confluence, Jira, and/or SharePoint.
• Understanding of financial analysis, modelling, accounting, and business fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of commercial banking and financial services.
• Previous internship or project management experience in strategy or consulting.
• Familiarity with commercial lending and banking industry.
• Understanding of RBC's business lines and competitive landscape.
• Experience using AI tools for market research and strategic insights.

Program Details

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, salaried position.
