Business Analyst, RBC Amplify 2027, Toronto

About the role

RBC Amplify is an intensive summer innovation program in Toronto for Business Analysts graduating between August 2027 and June 2028. Participants work on real business challenges within cross-functional teams, developing and pitching functional products or solutions while receiving coaching, mentoring, technical training, and professional development support.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional business, data, and programming specialists to develop innovative products for real RBC challenges.
• Organize and manage the team project, build a business case, and deliver an executive presentation and pitch.
• Design, troubleshoot, and develop a fully functional prototype addressing a genuine business need.
• Work with subject matter experts, mentors, executive sponsors, technology teams, business stakeholders, and end users.
• Contribute to design tasks and support all stages of the product-building process.
• Apply design thinking, agile development, strategy, communication, and problem-solving methodologies in an ambiguous environment.

Program Experience

• Participate in an intensive summer innovation program using collaboration, research, ideation, product development, and pitching.
• Access subject matter experts, coaches, mentors, technical resources, and professional training throughout the program.
• Work with students from diverse backgrounds while building professional relationships and contributing to real RBC projects.
• Develop skills through coaching, learning opportunities, and exposure to innovative technologies and methodologies.
