Business Analyst, RBC Amplify 2027, Halifax

About the role

RBC Amplify is an intensive summer innovation program where Business Analysts collaborate in cross-functional teams to solve real RBC business challenges. Participants research, design, build, and pitch a functional prototype while developing business, communication, leadership, design, and problem-solving skills in a startup-style environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on a business challenge to develop an innovative product or solution.
• Organize and manage the team project, build a business case, and prepare an executive pitch.
• Design, troubleshoot, and develop a fully functional prototype addressing a real business need.
• Work with business, data, and programming specialists, stakeholders, mentors, and executive sponsors.
• Apply design thinking, agile development, critical thinking, time management, and leadership skills.
• Develop project strategy and communications, including presentations to RBC stakeholders.

Program Experience

• Receive access to subject matter experts, coaches, mentors, technical training, and professional development resources.
• Work in a flexible, collaborative, fast-paced environment while contributing to real RBC projects.
• Gain exposure to user research, prototyping, wireframing, experience mapping, and design methodologies.
• Collaborate with students from diverse backgrounds and build professional relationships.
