Business Analyst, RBC Amplify 2027, Calgary

About the role

RBC Amplify 2027 is an intensive summer innovation internship in Calgary for business analysts. Interns will collaborate in cross-functional teams to solve real RBC business challenges, develop functional products or prototypes, build business cases, and present solutions to stakeholders with support from mentors and technical and professional training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on a real RBC business challenge to develop an innovative product or solution.
• Organize and manage the team project, including business-case development and executive pitch preparation.
• Design, create, troubleshoot, and deliver a fully functional prototype addressing a business need.
• Support product development through design tasks, research, ideation, and problem-solving in ambiguous situations.
• Work with subject matter experts, mentors, executive sponsors, and technology and business stakeholders.
• Apply design thinking, agile development, strategy, communication, and project-management methodologies.

Program Experience

• Access subject matter experts, coaches, mentors, executive sponsors, technical training, and professional development resources.
• Work with students from diverse backgrounds in a dynamic, collaborative, and high-performing environment.
• Contribute to real projects that may have lasting impact at RBC.
• Develop teamwork, communication, critical thinking, leadership, time-management, and innovation skills.

Work Details

• Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
• Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
• Employment type: Student/Co-op, fixed term.
