Data Engineer, RBC Amplify 2027, Toronto

About the role

RBC Amplify is an intensive summer innovation program in Toronto for post-secondary students graduating between August 2027 and June 2028. As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate in a cross-functional team to solve a real RBC business challenge, develop a functional prototype, and pitch it to stakeholders with mentor support.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on a business challenge and develop an innovative product in a cross-functional team.
• Design, troubleshoot, and develop a fully functional prototype solving a real RBC business need.
• Work with subject matter experts, mentors, and technology and business executive sponsors.
• Apply teamwork, critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills in an ambiguous environment.
• Present the project to stakeholders and develop its strategy and communications.
• Participate in continuous learning covering design thinking, agile development, and other tools.
