About the role

RBC Amplify 2027 is an intensive summer innovation internship in Halifax for students graduating between August 2027 and June 2028. As a Data Engineer, you will work in a cross-functional team to research, design, develop, and pitch a functional prototype addressing a real RBC business challenge, supported by mentors, training, and subject-matter experts.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on a business challenge and develop an innovative product with a cross-functional team.
  • Design, create, troubleshoot, and deliver a fully functional prototype solving a real RBC business need.
  • Work with subject-matter experts, mentors, and executive sponsors across technology and business.
  • Apply teamwork, critical thinking, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills in an ambiguous environment.
  • Present the project to executives and develop supporting strategy and communications.
  • Engage in continuous learning through design thinking, agile development, and other training opportunities.
