About the role

RBC Amplify is an intensive summer innovation program where data engineering interns collaborate on real business challenges, build a functional prototype, and pitch it to stakeholders. Participants receive technical and professional training, mentorship, coaching, and opportunities to develop solutions in a flexible, startup-style environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional specialists to develop an innovative product addressing a real RBC business challenge.
• Design, create, troubleshoot, and deliver a fully functional prototype solving a business need.
• Work with subject matter experts, mentors, and executive sponsors across technology and business functions.
• Apply teamwork, critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills while working through ambiguity.
• Develop project strategy and communications, culminating in executive presentations to RBC stakeholders.

Training and Support

• Access technical and professional training, subject matter experts, coaches, mentors, and development resources.
• Participate in continuous learning opportunities covering design thinking, agile development, and other tools.
