About the role

RBC Amplify 2027 is an intensive summer internship for developers in Montréal. Working in a cross-functional team, you will research, design, build, and pitch a functional technology prototype addressing a real RBC business challenge. The program offers mentorship, technical and professional training, exposure to leaders, and collaboration with Toronto headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on a business challenge and develop an innovative product or solution for RBC.
• Research, design, create, and deliver a fully functional prototype addressing a real business need.
• Work with cutting-edge and industry-standard technologies throughout the product development process.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts, mentors, executive sponsors, and technology and business stakeholders.
• Apply teamwork, critical thinking, communication, leadership, and collaboration skills in an ambiguous environment.
• Present to executives, develop project strategies, and prepare communications for your solution.

Program and Development

• Participate in an intensive summer innovation program within a flexible, start-up-style environment.
• Receive technical and professional training in design thinking, agile development, and other tools.
• Access subject-matter experts, coaches, mentors, and resources to develop your idea.
• Communicate regularly with RBC head-office staff in Toronto.
• Collaborate with students from diverse backgrounds and build professional relationships.
• Contribute to real projects that may have lasting impact at RBC.
