About the role

Responsibilities

• Create and review technical design documents for small projects.
• Coordinate design phases, track and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in walkthrough reviews of technical specs and test plans.
• Provide estimates for design, coding, and unit testing tasks.
• Perform performance tuning for single functions.
• Provide third-level support for applications and databases.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution in computer science, engineering, or technology.
• Demonstrate leadership acumen and passion in a dynamic business environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative, analytical thinker capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong MS Office skills: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience or understanding of programming languages, databases, and code management tools.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with web technologies, frameworks, middleware, and design tools.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and cross-browser development.
• Ability to hand-code all components.
• Knowledge of IP infrastructure, server OS, domain registration, IT standards, and audit requirements.
