About the role

Join RBC as a Quality Engineering or Automation Student for 4-8 months in Toronto. Contribute to automated test plans, QA testing, and automation solutions in a dynamic tech environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop automated test plans and solutions to enhance automation and process controls.
• Create, update, and execute QA testing plans.
• Support programming and testing tools for internal use.
• Maintain accurate testing status reports and documentation.
• Support upgrades to the testing environment.
• Automate reporting using Blue Prism, VBA, and SQL tools.

Requirements - Must Have

• Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution in computer science, technology, or engineering.
• Leadership skills and passion for dynamic business environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative, analytical, self-driven, and fast learner.
• Strong MS Office skills: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Understanding of QA methods, testing frameworks, and methodologies.

Requirements - Nice to Have

• Automation expertise with Blue Prism and BI tools like Tableau, Elastic.
• Experience in data integration of disparate sources.
• Knowledge of relational database concepts and design.
