2026 Fall Student Opportunities Technology & Operations - Software Developer, 12 Months
RBC offers a 12-month full-time co-op opportunity for students in computer science, engineering, or technology to work as software developers across various roles in Technology & Operations.

Role and Responsibilities
- Develop, troubleshoot, enhance, and document code aligned with strategic initiatives.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications and coordinate design phases.
- Create and review technical design documents and facilitate project meetings.
- Participate in walkthrough reviews of technical specs, code, and test plans.
- Conduct unit testing and improve function performance through tuning.

Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution focused on computer science, engineering, or technology.
- Leadership skills and passion for dynamic business environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative, analytical, self-driven, and able to work in fast-paced settings.
- Strong MS Office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML).
- Experience with hand-coding components and cross-browser development.

- Full-time, 12-month co-op term.
- Work location: RBC Waterpark Place, Toronto, Canada.
- Work hours: 37.5 hours per week.
