2026 Fall Student Opportunities Technology & Operations - Quality Engineering & Automation, 4 Months
RBC offers a 4-month full-time internship in Quality Engineering and Automation within Technology & Operations. Students will develop automated test plans, support QA testing, and work with tools like Blue Prism, VBA, and SQL.

Role and Responsibilities
- Develop automated test plans and solutions to meet client needs.
- Create, update, and execute QA testing plans.
- Support programming and testing tools for internal use.
- Maintain accurate testing status reports and documentation.
- Support upgrades to the testing environment.

Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Understand QA methods, testing approaches, and frameworks.
- Experience with SQL and/or VBA programming.
- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and analytics technologies.
- Ability to apply development standards and guidelines.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Blue Prism is a plus.

Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution in computer science, technology, or engineering.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, analytical thinker capable of fast learning.
- Proficient in MS Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Qualifications (Nice-to-have)
- Automation expertise with tools like Blue Prism.
- Experience with data integration from disparate sources.
- Relational database concepts and design experience.
