Role and Responsibilities
- Perform exploratory analysis on various data sources to detect cyber threats.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
- Present findings using data visualization techniques.
- Propose solutions to business challenges related to security.
- Preprocess structured and unstructured data for analysis.

Additional Responsibilities
- Proactively search for threats and suspicious behavior within the enterprise.
- Develop and maintain process and procedure documentation.
- Stay current with the evolving threat landscape.

Must-Have Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution in computer science, technology, engineering, or business analysis.
- Leadership skills and passion for dynamic business environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative, analytical, self-driven, and able to work in fast-paced settings.
- Strong MS Office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience in data integration from disparate sources.
- Knowledge of analytics technologies, architecture, and data warehouse concepts.
- Relational database design experience.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new business and system concepts.
- Understanding of incident handling, forensics, risk assessment, and security monitoring.
