Join RBC as a Business Intelligence Developer/Engineer Intern in the Enterprise Chief Controls Office. Support data pipeline development, reporting, automation, and stakeholder collaboration in a 4-month fall 2026 placement in Toronto.

Role and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute data, reporting, and dashboard products.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data integration from source systems.
- Develop automation tools for data/file processing to improve workflow efficiency.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI.
- Support data infrastructure by coordinating with Technology and Operations teams.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI with hands-on development.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or SQL for data extraction and automation.
- Ability to analyze large data volumes and present findings to stakeholders.
- Self-driven, creative, analytical thinker able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in BI development, data engineering, or automation, ideally in banking or financial services.
- Knowledge of analytics technologies, design, development, and implementation.
- Familiarity with data governance and role-based access controls.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new business and system concepts.

Program Details
- 4-month fall 2026 student placement from September to December in Toronto, Ontario.
- Must return to school after December 2026 or require the full 4-month work term to graduate.
- Full-time position with 37.5 work hours per week.
- Salaried student/co-op fixed term role.
- Flexible work arrangements available; location in Ontario required.
