About the role

Join RBC Capital Markets’ Equity Finance Desk in Toronto for a four-month winter analyst internship. Support liquidity and financing activities for prime brokerage clients, equity desks, retail clients, financial institutions, and internal RBC teams while gaining direct exposure to Global Markets and Central Funding Group partners.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to client borrow requests.
• Interact with prime brokerage clients and other financial institutions.
• Collaborate with Central Funding and Capital Markets partners.
• Complete special projects as required.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of financial markets.
• Extreme attention to detail and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure, unstructured environments.
• Relationship-building skills across groups and individuals.
• Fast learner who anticipates next steps and tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
