Winter 2027 - GRM, Financial Crimes Quality Assurance Intern (4 months)

About the role

RBC offers a 4-month Winter 2027 internship in Financial Crimes Quality Assurance for data-focused students. Interns will analyze financial crime investigations, use Python and Power BI, and support quality assurance in a dynamic team environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design and implement projects monitoring Financial Crimes investigations' efficiency.
• Analyze and summarize project results for broad audience awareness.
• Use Power BI for data gathering, organization, and trend analysis.
• Support Quality Assurance with process strategies using Python.
• Work in an agile team delivering end-to-end business needs.
• Lead analytics to identify innovative insights and promote data-driven culture.

Candidate Requirements

• Enrolled in Canadian post-secondary program in data science, computer science, math, statistics, or machine learning.
• Programming skills in Python or other languages.
• Ability to extract, transform, and load diverse data types.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical thinker able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of analytics technologies, architecture, and data warehouse concepts.
• Quick learner of new business and system concepts.

Program Details

• 4-month internship from January to April 2027.
• Must return to school after internship or require full 4-month term to graduate.
• Located in Ontario during work term.
• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
• Salaried position.
