About the role

Join RBC as a Winter 2027 Co-op Student in Risk Governance within Personal Banking. Gain hands-on experience in risk management, compliance, and governance through a 4 or 8 month placement starting January 11, 2027.

Role and Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and document detailed business requirements with business partners.
• Design, implement, and manage analytics and reporting solutions.
• Produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
• Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations.
• Integrate information from multiple sources to improve processes and reporting.
• Communicate regulatory activities and results to stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related post-secondary program.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, event planning, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software.
• Passion for risk management and governance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization or automation tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to explain complex technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
