About the role
RBC offers a 4-month Winter 2027 internship in Financial Crimes Governance, focusing on governance, controls, and reporting within Group Risk Management. The role involves project support, document administration, and process improvement in a dynamic team environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist with governance documents, reports, and inventories administration.
- Analyze, deliver, and implement projects and activities.
- Design and build solutions using latest technologies to meet business needs.
- Contribute actively to team and RBC development community.
- Seek improvements in tools, technologies, and processes.
- Support team logistics and workspace planning activities.

Requirements - Must Have
- Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
- Leadership skills and passion for dynamic business environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative, analytical, self-driven, and fast-paced work capability.
- Strong MS Office skills: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Requirements - Nice to Have
- Interest or experience in data analysis, presentation, and reporting.
- Experience in process mapping, improvement, and procedure development.
- Interest in communications or graphic/presentation design.
- Knowledge of financial services industry and Canadian regulations.
- Understanding of Financial Crimes and quick learning ability.
Program Details
- 4-month internship from January to April 2027.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Must return to school after internship or require full term for graduation.
