About the role
RBC is hiring a Data Analyst Intern for a 4-month winter term in 2027 to support data governance and quality assurance in Wholesale Credit Management. The role involves working with Python, SQL, and Tableau to enhance data assets and reporting.
Role and Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain data assets for Wholesale Credit Management.
- Maintain enterprise data governance documentation.
- Design, deploy, and automate data monitoring tools.
- Improve reporting capabilities on data quality.
- Establish systematic data validation processes.
- Leverage AI to enhance data governance.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, or related field.
- Experience with SQL and Python programming.
- Familiarity with data management and visualization tools.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the financial industry.
- Knowledge of data governance, quality, and security.
- Experience with data modeling and database administration.
- Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Program Details
- 4-month winter internship from January to April 2027.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
