2027 Winter – GRM, AI Business Analyst Intern – Innovation & AI Centre of Excellence (4 Months)

About the role

Four-month Winter 2027 internship within RBC’s Group Risk Management AI Centre of Excellence. The intern will help develop practical AI applications for risk-management challenges, translating business needs into technical solutions and supporting projects from proof of concept through production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Support AI applications addressing business challenges and advanced risk-management decisions.
• Work with business users to translate use cases into practical technical problems and iterate solutions.
• Contribute to AI projects from idea design and proof of concept through production deployment.
• Conduct user research, analyze requirements, and track and report project progress.
• Prepare executive presentations, project strategies, and communications.
• Support safe AI adoption and governance while monitoring technology, regulatory, and business developments.

Eligibility and Work Arrangement

• Four-month student placement running from January 2027 through April 2027.
• Candidates must return to school after April 2027 or require the placement to graduate successfully.
• Successful candidates must be located within Ontario throughout the work term.
• Specific virtual, hybrid, and in-office arrangements will be discussed with the hiring manager.
• The position is full-time, salaried, and scheduled for 37.5 hours per week.
