About the role

Four-month Winter 2027 internship in RBC’s Enterprise Control Testing team in Toronto. The intern will support control assessments, risk management programs, regulatory commitments, stakeholder engagement, process improvements, and assessment tools while working closely with the Senior Manager, Enterprise Control Testing.

Responsibilities

  • Support control assessment activities evaluating control design and operating effectiveness against enterprise policies and standards.
  • Contribute to regulatory commitments, process improvement projects, and initiatives enhancing program maturity and efficiency.
  • Participate in management discussions regarding strategies, work plans, and related matters.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining tools used to execute and document risk assessments and control testing.
  • Build effective relationships with business partners and support stakeholder engagement as a key liaison.

Program Details

  • Four-month Winter 2027 student placement running from January 2027 through April 2027.
  • Full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week in Toronto, Ontario.
  • The successful candidate must be located within Ontario throughout the work term.
  • Virtual, hybrid, and in-office arrangements will be discussed with the Hiring Manager.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution during the application process.
  • Applicants must return to school after April 2027 or require the placement to graduate successfully.
