About the role
This 4-month Winter 2027 internship supports control assessment activities to evaluate key controls' design and effectiveness at RBC. The role involves risk management, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement projects within a dynamic team environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support control assessment activities aligned with RBC's Internal Control Policy and Standard.
- Assist in delivering key regulatory commitments for control assessments.
- Contribute to special projects to improve program maturity and efficiency.
- Participate in management discussions on strategies and work plans.
- Help develop and maintain tools for risk assessments and control testing.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution focusing on business, risk management, finance, mathematics, statistics, or engineering.
- Demonstrate leadership acumen and passion for dynamic business environments.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be a creative, analytical thinker capable of working independently in fast-paced settings.
- Experience working on projects and thriving in ambiguous situations.
- High attention to detail and quick information grasping ability.
Program Details
- 4-month Winter 2027 student placement from January to April.
- Must return to school after April 2027 or require the full 4-month term to graduate.
- Located in Ontario for the duration of the work term.
- Full-time, salaried position with 37.5 work hours per week.
