2027 Summer Internship - GAM Investment Risk

About the role

The RBC Global Asset Management Summer 2027 Internship places interns in Investment Risk, collaborating with Portfolio Management and Client Operations in Minneapolis. Interns will enhance risk processes, develop trading-desk tools, support client operations, and gain hands-on asset-management experience through learning sessions, networking, career development, volunteer activities, and executive exposure.

Responsibilities

• Enhance investment risk processes, create risk-analysis processes, and perform ad hoc analysis related to current market events.
• Develop tools supporting Portfolio Management trading desks, including technology and regulatory projects.
• Support Client Operations with client reporting, onboarding, cash-flow management, and audit processes.

Program Experience

• Work collaboratively across Investment Risk, Portfolio Management, and Client Operations within RBC Global Asset Management.
• Participate in learning sessions, social outings, volunteer work, career development, networking, and executive leadership exposure.

Work Details

• The internship is based at 250 Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
• The position is full-time, fixed-term student or co-op employment requiring 40 hours weekly.
