2026 Fall - GRM, Wholesale Credit Risk Intern (4 Months)
Join RBC's Group Risk Management-Wholesale Credit Risk team as a Fall 2026 intern. Analyze credit exposures of investment managers and funds, support transaction approvals, and conduct industry research in a dynamic risk environment.

Role Responsibilities
- Perform credit analysis on investment managers and fund borrowers using Risk Assessment Frameworks.
- Review lending and trading transactions during approval processes within Capital Markets.
- Monitor borrowers' business and financial performance through various information sources.
- Conduct industry research and support special projects as needed.
- Provide technical and analytical support for process optimization and data management.

Candidate Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail under pressure.
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis.
- Experience with Excel and VBA/Macro for financial analysis and data handling.
- Demonstrated research skills and analytical approach.

Preferred Qualifications
- Interest or knowledge in Risk Management or Capital Markets careers.
- Experience with fund managers or funds is an asset.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, S&P, Moody’s, or Fitch ratings.
- Progress towards CFA designation.

Program Details
- 4-month Fall 2026 internship from September to December.
- Must return to school after internship or require full 4-month term to graduate.
- Located in Ontario for the duration; flexible work arrangements possible.
- Full-time, salaried position with 37.5 hours per week.
