Role and Responsibilities
- Develop AI solutions from design to production deployment.
- Collaborate with business users to translate needs into technical solutions.
- Focus on practical applications addressing business challenges.
- Stay updated on AI advancements and share knowledge.
- Present technical updates to peers and senior management.

Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience prototyping GenAI applications with LLMs and transformer models.
- Skilled in prompt engineering to optimize LLM outputs.
- Proficient in Python 3.x software development.
- Knowledge of modular RAG and agentic systems.
- Familiar with software engineering best practices and ML/DL algorithms.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Knowledge of embedding model fine-tuning and LLM performance evaluation.
- Experience deploying GenAI in production and enterprise use cases.
- Familiarity with ML/DL frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face.
- Experience in regulated environments and financial risk management concepts.

Program Details
- 4-month student placement from September to December 2026.
- Must be returning to school after December 2026 or require full 4-month term to graduate.
- Located in Ontario for the duration of the work term.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, salaried position.
