Role and Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning and executing audits across retail and wholesale credit portfolios.
  • Work with auditors on walkthroughs, control testing, and portfolio reviews.
  • Analyze credit exposure, migration trends, and risk metrics to identify issues.
  • Evaluate credit risk rating, monitoring, and provisioning processes.
  • Prepare well-documented workpapers supporting audit conclusions.

Team and Exposure

  • Join a specific Global Credit team for the fall term.
  • Gain exposure to multiple credit risk disciplines within Internal Audit.
  • Attend audit team and stakeholder meetings to learn communication of findings.
  • Experience how Internal Audit supports sound credit risk management and regulatory compliance.

Candidate Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Strong personal skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of financial statement analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel for financial analysis.
  • Understanding of credit risk concepts and processes.
  • Previous experience with a financial institution.
