About the role

Join RBC Insurance's winter co-op program in Montreal, supporting sales through varied tasks like client communication, research, and report analysis. Develop insurance product knowledge and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative team environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform research and respond to customer inquiries.
• Contribute to projects under supervision.
• Document and update process manuals.
• Develop product knowledge and business process skills.
• Manage client correspondence via calls and emails.
• Run insurance illustrations and sales reports.

Candidate Requirements

• Bilingual in English and French is mandatory.
• Pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s in finance, business, economics, or related field.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of business administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for financial analysis.
• Previous experience in financial or insurance institutions.

Program Details

• Full-time, fixed-term student/co-op position.
• Work 37.5 hours per week in Montreal.
• Applications accepted until 2026-09-21.
• Must be returning to school after the work term or require the work term to graduate.
