2027 Insurance, Winter Sales Support (4-16 months)

About the role

RBC Insurance offers a winter co-op internship in Sales Support roles across multiple Canadian locations. Interns will gain hands-on experience in insurance sales support, client communication, and administrative tasks within a professional team environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform research and respond to customer inquiries.
• Contribute to projects under supervision.
• Document and update process manuals.
• Develop product knowledge and business process skills.
• Manage client correspondence via calls and emails.
• Run insurance illustrations and sales reports.

Additional Tasks

• Handle caseload reassignments and follow-up reports.
• Update systems with caseload changes and follow-up dates.
• Review files for offsets and pursue as needed.
• Make courtesy calls to advisors.
• Assist in creating newsletters.
• Attend webinars and conduct follow-up calls.

Candidate Requirements

• Pursuing Bachelor or Master’s in finance, business, economics, or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of business administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for financial analysis.
• Previous experience in financial or insurance institutions.
