2026 Insurance, Fall Sales Support (4-16 months)

RBC Insurance offers a 4-16 month fall co-op internship in Sales Support roles across multiple Canadian locations. Interns will gain hands-on experience in insurance sales operations, customer service, and project support within a professional team environment.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform research and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Contribute to projects under supervision.
  • Document and update process manuals.
  • Develop product knowledge and business process competence.
  • Call advisors regarding unsettled policies.

Additional Tasks

  • Make courtesy calls to advisors.
  • Help create newsletters and run insurance illustrations.
  • Run reports to support sales activities.
  • Organize and participate in events.
  • Attend webinars and conduct follow-up calls.

Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor or Master’s in Finance, Business, Economics, CFA, or related field.
  • Strong personal skills and teamwork ability.
  • Professional written and verbal communication.
  • Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of business administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel for financial analysis.
  • Previous experience in financial or insurance institutions.
