2027 Winter - CLAO, Procurement Solutions Desk Intern (4 Months)

About the role

This four-month Winter 2027 student placement supports RBC’s Global Procurement Sourcing teams in Toronto. Interns prepare and review contracts, work with internal partners and suppliers, help negotiate commercial terms, and participate in procurement initiatives. Applicants must study at a Canadian post-secondary institution and be located in Ontario throughout the work term.

Responsibilities

• Prepare contractual agreements and analyze contracts for compliance with company policies.
• Liaise with internal business partners and external suppliers.
• Negotiate commercial terms and pricing with suppliers, excluding key legal terms.
• Participate in procurement team meetings and initiatives.

Eligibility and Requirements

• Be enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution studying supply chain, procurement, law, business administration, data science, or related fields.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Return to school after April 2027, or require the full work term to graduate successfully.

• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.

Placement Details

• Four-month Winter 2027 student placement running from January 2027 through April 2027.
• Position based at Bay Wellington Tower, Toronto, Ontario, with 37.5 hours per week.
• Successful candidates must be located within Ontario for the entire work term.
• Specific virtual, hybrid, or in-office arrangements will be discussed with the hiring manager.
