About the role
Join RBC Investor Services for a winter co-op in Client Operations, gaining hands-on experience in fund accounting, client reporting, and compliance within a global asset servicing leader.
Role Responsibilities
- Distribute fund fact sheets and maturity notices to dealers.
- Maintain dealer records within service level agreements (SLA).
- Review daily salesperson reports and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Support client data updates and annual tax documentation renewals.
- Analyze and resolve basic client issues, escalating complex cases.
- Contribute to process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
Additional Duties
- Update and maintain data in client management systems.
- Assist with internal audits, control reviews, and testing.
- Review IRS tax forms for US Chapter 3 compliance and annual reporting.
- Ensure FATCA/CRS/QI compliance during client onboarding and data management.
- Perform daily and monthly FATCA/CRS/QI operational monitoring and updates.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and financial accounting spreadsheets.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide professional and friendly client service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a business environment.
- Knowledge of financial services industry.
- Ability to interpret IRS codes.
