About the role
RBC Capital Markets seeks a co-op/intern for a four-month Client Management Winter Analyst role in Toronto. The position supports global transaction banking clients, including financial institutions and broker-dealers, through account lifecycle management, client inquiries, issue resolution, and data-driven initiatives, while providing exposure to capital markets and relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Manage client account lifecycles, including openings, product setups, closures, and maintenance requests.
- Handle and resolve client inquiries concerning global transaction banking products and services.
- Partner with Analysts, Associates, and Relationship Managers to address client issues in real time.
- Analyze data and develop insights supporting strategic initiatives and client self-sufficiency.
Development
- Receive mentorship, hands-on coaching, and stretch opportunities from invested leaders.
- Gain practical capital markets expertise supporting sophisticated clients in global transaction banking.
- Build professional relationships and expand your network across RBC Capital Markets.
Requirements
- Pursue a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related program.
- Complete the second, third, or fourth year of studies.
- Return to school after April 2027, or require this work term for graduation.
- Demonstrate strong Microsoft Office, analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Apply business judgment, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Manage competing priorities and time effectively in a client-focused environment.
Nice to Have
- Learn quickly and apply new business concepts effectively.
- Have exposure to financial services and banking products.
- Have familiarity with Salesforce or other customer relationship management tools.
- Understand corporate cash management products and cross-border payments.
