About the role

Join RBC as a Winter 2027 Co-op Communications Advisor supporting Personal Banking. Develop communication strategies, deliver content, and collaborate in a dynamic team environment. This in-person role runs from January to April or August 2027 in Toronto.

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise internal partners on communication strategies and key messaging.
• Deliver communications via written, spoken, and visual channels.
• Share educational insights as a reverse mentor on new tactics and measurement.
• Support Personal Banking teams to advance RBC's strategic priorities.
• Perform ad hoc communication-related duties as required.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Communications, English, or Journalism bachelor's program.
• Strong communication and change management skills.
• Proactive, able to work independently or in a team.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Acrobat).
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
• Creative problem-solver with a strong work ethic and deadline-driven.

Nice to Have

• Fluency in French is an asset.

Program Details

• Start date: January 11, 2027; end date: April 30 or August 2027.
• In-person role based in Toronto at RBC Waterpark Place.
• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
• Fixed-term student/co-op position.
