2027 Summer Internship - GAM Marketing

About the role

Boston-based summer internship supporting RBC Global Asset Management’s Marketing team. Interns will help market investment solutions, contribute to campaigns and events, develop digital content, analyze engagement data, and collaborate with sales, product, digital, and creative teams while gaining exposure to asset management and financial services.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing investment solutions to institutions and financial intermediaries, including advisors, banks, and broker-dealers.
• Collaborate with sales, product, digital, and creative teams on marketing projects.
• Support conferences, webinars, campaigns, website content, social media, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Evaluate data sources to track engagement and identify trends in marketing activities.
• Use platforms including Salesforce, Wrike, Seismic, Marketing Cloud, CMS, and Smartsheet.
• Meet colleagues across the organization to learn about financial services and asset management.

Program Experience

• Gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced financial services professionals.
• Participate in learning sessions, social outings, volunteer work, career development, and networking opportunities.
• Receive exposure to executive leadership and different aspects of asset management.

Requirements

• Be a junior or senior graduating between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Pursue a degree in marketing, business management, marketing communications, digital marketing, or communications.
• Manage competing priorities, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, creative, interpersonal, communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Have Microsoft Office, project management, and data-driven decision-making experience.
• Work 40 hours per week for the internship’s duration.

Compensation and Timeline

• Location: Boston, Massachusetts, at 225 Franklin Street.
• Full-time student/co-op fixed-term position with 40 hours per week.
