About the role

RBC Real Estate Capital Partners seeks rising seniors for a 10-week 2028 Summer Analyst internship in Dallas. Analysts support commercial real estate debt transactions by evaluating, underwriting, and structuring senior and mezzanine investments. The program includes one week of training in New York, nine weeks in Dallas, mentorship, deal-team exposure, and networking opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform valuation analyses using discounted cash flow, multiples, and transaction comparables.
• Build detailed financial models assessing real estate performance under operating scenarios and capital structures.
• Prepare committee presentations covering deal strategy, market overviews, and commercial real estate activity.
• Participate in real estate debt transactions from due diligence through closing.
• Coordinate with deal team members and capital markets colleagues.

Program and Training

• Complete a 10-week program comprising one week in New York and nine weeks in Dallas.
• Attend intensive orientation and technical training led by instructors and RBC Capital Markets professionals.
• Continue learning through colleagues, team members, and deal-focused experiences in Dallas.
• Receive mentor support and participate in social events, networking, and career discussions.

Requirements

• Be an undergraduate entering the final year of a four-year college or university after completing the program.
• Demonstrate excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
• Have high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Manage multiple competing priorities and assume significant responsibility.
• Be a strong team player able to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
