About the role

A four-month, tech-focused Winter Analyst internship in RBC Capital Markets’ Global Investment Banking division in New York. Interns work with banking groups to identify complex financial-market issues, develop end-to-end technology solutions, and present outcomes to stakeholders. The role targets students pursuing technical degrees with programming and artificial intelligence knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Global Investment Banking groups to identify and solve complex financial-market issues.
• Analyze business requirements, create designs, develop code, and translate concepts into actionable solutions.
• Deliver end-to-end solutions for an assigned business line to improve efficiency and encourage innovative thinking.
• Present outcomes to stakeholders and collaborate in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
